Dr. Şengül İnan Gülpınar
Şengül İnan Gülpınar completed her primary and secondary education in Mersin and her postgraduate studies in Psychological Counseling and Guidance at Çukurova University in Adana. She completed her doctorate in psychology abroad. Since graduating, other training courses she has received in psychology, both in Türkiye and abroad, are listed below.
Our professor provides consulting services to a foreign university in Türkiye. In addition to this, in her spare time, she provides consulting and supervision services to families, individuals, and students in Adana several days a week, whenever she has the opportunity. She participates as a speaker in seminars organized by the Ministry of National Education and the university, providing information as a family educator and psychotherapist.
Our professor has increased his work on panic attacks and stress, two of the most significant ailments of our time. He has facilitated the provision of counseling and guidance services to psychiatrists in addition to medication and therapy methods, thus boosting individuals’ self-esteem and contributing positively to coping with their problems.
Through his family counseling and guidance services, he has achieved high success rates in resolving numerous family problems, including those between couples, mothers, daughters, fathers, and children, and has contributed to the formation of families with stronger communication.
In addition to his family counseling services, he has also completed Sex Therapy Training and provides services in this field. He has addressed the psychological basis of non-biological problems such as vaginismus, premature ejaculation, and sexual dysfunction, providing expert support and solutions.
Şengül, a Family Educator for the Ministry of National Education, has developed her expertise in family and couples therapy. She has completed training at the German-based Systemic Psychotherapy Institute and has also received psychotherapy training from numerous universities and leading associations in Türkiye. To date, she has provided couples therapy services to approximately three thousand (3,000) families, setting a remarkable record in this field.
