Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alay
Ahmad Alay, an Indian-born Pakistani academic, is the founding dean of Preston University and specializes in psychology. He is the head of the department of psychology and teaches at the University of Faisalabad. Alay Ahmad holds an MA and BA from Aligarh Muslim University, India, a PhD from the University of Peshawar, and a Postdoctoral degree from the University of Peshawar, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. He also served in the Department of Psychology at the University of Peshawar from January 1966 to June 1998. He was also a professor at Maliksha University. He has successfully supervised six PhD scholars and has authored dozens of MPhil theses, as well as postgraduate theses. He is a Doctoral Supervisor for PhD theses both domestically and internationally. Dr. Ahmad has published articles in Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, India, Türkiye, and the United States. He has also published articles in Pakistani and international journals. Currently, Preston is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Journal Of Social Sciences Peshawar – Islamabad – Kohat Campuses and Senior Co-Author of the book Television.
